I hate to have to do this again, but a complication from my top surgery has left my arms about as useless to capitalism as my legs. Im in a RENT OR DEATH Situation

If I am unable to get two month's rent together immediately I will loose my housing! I have been in a prolonged Cold War with my landlords who are not pleased with me after I couldn't pay rent for five months last year. They would very much like me gone.

I'm at $945ish and need $4050. I need an immediate rescue but I think compassion fatigue and gas prices probably mean I won't find the sales/donations to get my rent paid. But what is the or what? There's nowhere else.

I'm buckling from the stress. I get a cough and I cough until I'm sick. A huge part of that stress from the fact that I provide a home for my elderly mother. It's a terrifying duty of care akin with keeping a roof for your kids. If I fail in the world, I don't have a parental safety net, if I loose my housing she does too. How long can someone expect a 77 immonocompromized person to survive unhoused?

I'm terrified.

I am FURIOUS and BAFFLED that major news outlets are not covering what’s going on in Iran right now and I don’t fucking have a twitter so I can’t make noise over there, even though apparently that’s the only social media platform people pay attention to????

Students at Sharif University of Technology in Tehran have been one group of many students and professors across the nation protesting, and NOW, the regime’s security forces have LOCKED THE STUDENTS IN THE UNIVERSITY AND ARE ARRESTING THEM IN MASSES AND SHOOTING AT THEM IF THEY TRY TO ESCAPE OUT THE GATES.

You have DOZENS of teenagers running for their lives in the dark while their parents and fellow citizens are protesting outside the gates chanting “free the students”. And NOW, the they’re sending more repression forces to the University!!

A BBC article says it’s unable to verify the events at the university in the same space it writes that VIDEO FOOTAGE on social media shows students RUNNING FROM SECURITY FORCES ON CAMPUS.

THE AUDACITY.

Share as much as you can about this on all of your social media platforms. Tag as many human rights activists and groups and news outlets you can think of to get the information out there. And if you have any friends or family in Tehran, let them know if they already don’t that people are mobilising to the university. Help the students!! Use the hashtags that are going around on social media (#mahsaamini, #jinaamini, #opiran, #iranprotests, to name a few).

My landlord sued me for past rent because I was using a state run rental assistance program and it was taking too long for his liking. The court case was today and the judge sided with my landlord who wasnt even present.

  I was given 10 days to come up with 870 or move out

I am currently broke because i just used the last of my money to get to this court case and i will not be paid until the 17th
